Grounds around the property and design, lounge area, breakfast, bathroom products and the jelly beans were all highlights. Size of room was also good and not too small. Good gym with decent number of machines and free weights. Close to shops in Salamanca and helpful staff.

Some of the staff at reception and on room service at times struggled with English, which we found surprising at a five star hotel in a major capital city.

The hotel is located in an area mostly occupied by embassies and businesses, so it offers a quiet and calm atmosphere away from the bustling city center. I had an absolutely amazing stay at a hotel in Madrid that I would highly recommend. The building was a beautifully converted old castle, giving it a unique and romantic ambiance. The rooms were well-preserved with gorgeous wooden floors and some even had fireplaces. The highlight for me was the back courtyard where I could relax and enjoy a drink or meal on a warm day. The service was exceptional, making me feel special and welcome throughout my stay. I can confidently say that this hotel is among my top favorites in the world.
